Brave season, Freelancers!
Have you felt it? The cold chill in the air. Perhaps you’ve seen the first snowfall as the sun breaks across the horizon. Well, we’re still a ways out from the colder time of year in Bastion, but it’s approaching steadily. Did you get a look?
Thank you to all the Freelancers who participated in the Icetide PTS we hosted a bit over a week ago! The data and the feedback we get from your playtime is invaluable to us to say the least. When things are closer to being ready, we’ll have more news to share around when the next seasonal event will be made available to everyone.
Additionally, this will be the last week for the Season of Skulls seasonal event, but more on that below.
Focusing back on the Season of Skulls, we often say how this is a time of coming together by the firelight. As you well know, Bastion is a dangerous place, even for a Freelancer suited up in their javelin armor. Because of that, the people of Fort Tarsis tend to live entirely within the stone walls (or sometimes inside the metal hull of a strider).
Despite that, though, foolish as it may seem with the lurking dangers all around in the darkness, the Season of Skulls presents a time of year where some of the citizens of Fort Tarsis can venture out just outside of the wall with the Sentinels and Freelancers. It’s a time to celebrate by the fireside under the black night sky. Though it can be a bit dangerous, the festivities make it more than worth it. Be sure to read the latest lore story, The Fire Inside, to learn a bit more about this tradition, along with a heartwarming story of familiar love.
With that, let’s get into the details for this coming week.
Season of Skulls — Week 6 (Final Week)
Heads up, Freelancers! This will be the last week for the Season of Skulls event, so get in while you can! That means the seasonal store and other aspects of the game that are tied to this event will close next Tuesday.
Because of that, though, just about everything from this event will be live throughout the entire week!
Freeplay
To unlock the weekly anomaly, complete the three seasonal events each week: Arcanist Research, Freelance Pilgrimage, and Sentinel Bonfire.
