Are you still having any trouble with the Apex Legends update? If so, let's try some things to see if we can help out with that.
I'd recommend clearing out your Origin Cache first when you have a chance. I've seen some situations where a missing or corrupted file in the cache can cause issues with installing or updating games. For more info on how to clear it check out the EA Help website.
