I've also seen some cases where this is related to Easy Anti-Cheat. Have you tried repairing or reinstalling Easy Anti-Cheat to see if that helps? You can find more information on how to do that over at the EAC website.

Do you still have the game installed through Origin? If so, it might be worth testing to see if it's still giving the same error.
