My fix to the problem in three Big steps:

First Step:

Right now we have the Problem in ranked, that to many people are "High Ranked". To fix this we first have to look at why do so many people gain so much RP in High Elo.

To fix this we have to limit the contribution of RP per lobby. So how do we do that in a fair way?

Right now many people can gain many RP through just camping. But dont come to quick solutions because why in the first place is it viable to just camp?

It is viable because to many people play to aggressive.

If i drop in Diamond right now alone at a place and just loot up, around 10-8 Squads are only left just when the first ring closes.

But why are people playing so damn aggresive?

The Max RP you can gain from kills is 125 RP, so get 5 KP (5*10=50) and then kill/Assist the last 3 squad members with the bonus you get 25 RP per Kill, so 3*25RP = 75RP + 50 RP = 125RP.

That means to max out the efficiency of my Games i have to do atleast 8 Kills.

This forces an extreme hyper aggresive playstyle and endless 3rd partys and through that people can just chill and wait till they can kill the last squad.

After all if you just kill the last squad you can get in total 125RP + 75RP = 200RP

And if you get 8 Kills and the win you can get 125RP + 125RP = 250 RP

A 50 RP difference is not that much. Im sure most players can pull of the camping strat and just gaining 50 RP from putting yourself in a Win or Loose Position is not that much.

So we need to increase the amount of good players in the late/mid game to kick out the bad players.

Afterall this is a Battle Roayle. The MAIN Goal is to win and get first place. But only the best teams should be able to do that. Ofcourse you should also be rewarded for winning fights but not rely on it to rank up.

So either players will start to see that fighting is not worth for the RP or we force people with the ranked system into choosing their fights more carefully instead of just fighting everything you hear/see and force a more thoughtfull Mid/Late Game.

To acomplish a skillfull and thoughtfull Mid/Late Game players need to stop thinking "I need to get KP in order to rank up so i push" and force them into asking themselfs "Why am i taking this fight? Is it for Loot or is it for the better Position?".

To do that we need to decrease the maximum amount of points you get from brainless pushing or in other words Kill Points in order to stop the aggresive playstyle early on and massivly increase the points for playing the better position. But only increase the points of third, second and first team with a big enough gap to each other that it will be worth fighting for.

These changes should force people to play passive early and get better position in Mid/Late Game. Better positioning will be more usefull and necessary because there will be more teams alive and like in ALGS you will get punished by other teams for that.

Second Step:

Another reason for people playing brainless is that they dont care to rank up. They just want to play Pubs but cant find the Pub selection in their Menu.

In Order to make people care about rank we need to make them want a High rank. With now the prestige of Master in the dirt there is nothing to gain other than Dive Trails and Badges which also become more worthless with more players having them.

We NEED better and more EXCLUSIVE rewards from ranking.

One way would be to display the highest amount of RP you had in a Season on Master Badges and on Predator Badges it should show what rank you ended the season on. So a 10k Master is pretty cool but not as cool as a 30k Master and a Predator 1# is WAAAAAYYYYY cooler than a Predator 750#

Third Step:

Reset all Ranks above Plat IV to Plat IV. Or even do a complete fresh start from Bronze IV. This will be inevitable no matter how you will change the ranked system. In order to keep the prestige of the High Elo Tiers.

You did your math wrong... 125/25 = 5 . You only need 5 kills at 1st place to max out RP.
