There's all sorts of weirdness happening with ranks at the moment, but the studio is looking into it and will hopefully get a fix out soon.

Getting -1483 points for coming ninth makes for quite a funny image. Didn't know expectations on what makes you good at Apex were set so high these days.

So from the looks of things, it's not actually messing with your rank and seems to just be a display issue. The studio's still working on fixing it, hopefully they'll be able to push something out soon.
