What you're describing does sound like there's some kind of connectivity-related issue happening. I'd like to try running through some troubleshooting steps to see if we can help stop this from happening.
When you have the chance can you try running through the basic connectivity steps from the EA Help website to see how that goes? If you're still running into the same issues after that check out the PC-specific steps afterward.
