Hi @AerynDr

I would like to try out some troubleshooting steps to see if we can help out with the latency issues we've been seeing. When you have the chance I'd recommend starting off with the basic connectivity steps from the EA Help website to see if that helps.

If you're still seeing unusually high latency after that check out the PC-specific steps as well. Let me know how it goes once you've had the chance to give it a shot. Thank you!

Hi @AerynDr

Thanks for giving it a shot! Can we also try changing the DNS settings in Windows to see if that helps? I've seen some cases where using a different DNS can help with issues like this.

You can update the DNS through the TCP/IP settings in Windows. For more information on how to get there check out the Microsoft Support website. If you choose the Manual option you can then enter a DNS of your choosing. I usually recommend using the public Google DNS (Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8; Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4), but if there's a different DNS you would rather use instead, that's OK as well.

Let me know how that goes once you've had the chance to give it a shot. Thanks again!

Which datacenter are you connecting to? Have you had the chance to test this with any others to see if that makes a difference at all?

@AerynDr

Thanks for following up! Did it just return to normal on its own, or did you follow any particular steps that helped fix it?
