Hey @notwootnik

I'm sorry to hear this has been giving you trouble for so long. I'd like to try out a few things to see if we can help stop this from happening. A good place to start off would be with the basic connectivity steps from the EA Help site to see how that goes.

If it's still happening after that please check out the PlayStation-specific steps as well. Let me know how that goes once you've had the chance to give it a shot. Thanks!

I appreciate you giving that a shot. Another step we can try is setting a different DNS on the PS4. In some cases using a different DNS can help with issues like this.

To change the DNS on your PlayStation follow the steps below:

1. Open the PlayStation Settings and go to Network

2. Choose Set Up Internet Connection

3. Select WiFi or LAN Cable depending on what type of connection you're using

4. Select IP Address Settings (Automatic)

5. Select DHCP Host Name (Do Not Use)

6. Enter 8.8.8.8 as the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 as the Secondary DNS. This is the public Google DNS, but if there's a different DNS you would rather use instead that's OK as well.

7. Choose MTU Settings (Automatic)

8. Select Proxy Server (Do Not Use)

9. Select Test Internet Connection to confirm the changes

Let me know if you're still running into the same issues after that. Thanks!
