[2021] Ready Button will randomly cancel

Can we try a few things to see if we can help stop this from happening? 

If you haven't already a good place to start would be with verifying the integrity of the game files for Apex Legends. You can find more information on how to verify the files at the Steam Support website.

I've seen some other reports recently saying this can happen if someone in your lobby is changing the default Legend. Does it seem like that could be what's happening in your experience?
