Hey @2018016581 If this is still happening, can you share a DxDiag report from your device so we can start looking at this issue? Also to confirm after your device gets back up and running are there any error messages that pop up?

@2018016581 Apologies for the late response, Based on what you had mentioned wanted to look into this further. If Apex is showing to install again I would first recommend seeing if you can find the installation location to see if it is still there. To be on the safe side you may want to clean your device with something similar to CCleaner and reinstall apex. In addition based off your DXDiag can you also check the following? 

 

  • Check for Windows and GPU updates 
  • Allow Steam and Apex through any Firewall or Anti0Virus you have
  • Reset Windows Host File 
  • Run Steam and Apex as an administrator (by right-clicking desktop icons and selecting 'run as admin")  
  • Clean Boot  

After going through these steps I would say to try it one more time(if possible close down Vanguard) and see if you continue to have issues, If so would it be possible to uninstall vanguard/associated game and test then as well?
