This is only a fraction of the improvements heading to the game this month - check out our patch notes in full for a look at everything, including changes and fixes that were the direct result of your feedback.
Thank you for playing! Patch notes:
A Huge HUD UI Upgrade
It’s nice to declutter. We’ve completely overhauled our HUD UI, making it slicker and easier to use, without sacrificing any depth. Check out that new Hotbar, Character Sheet and much much more!
Expect the unexpected with Room Portals
Before Patch #7, it was possible for players to see within closed-off or unexplored rooms. In our new update, we’ve introduced Room Portals - blackened barriers covering the unexplored, concealing the secrets within. Ooh, the tension…
Making stealth…stealthier
We’ve improved how Darkvision is visualized in Patch #7. Now when controlling a character with Darkvision, the area won’t be brightly lit as before. Instead, they’ll just have a cone of vision - keeping those surprises just that: a surprise.
With Patch #7, almost anything has the potential to become a deadly projectile. Launch a sheep into the air and watch as your enemies cower in fear of nature’s woolen bullet.
We’ve also introduced a new class of throwable weapons, so you can attack from a distance!
Yeet a Goblin with Improvised Weapons
Picture a large badger. No, bigger. Now imagine using it as a melee weapon: picking it up like a wrestler with a steel folding chair and bashing it against a helpless but furious Githyanki. That’s an improvised weapon.
Berserker
Pull from a reservoir of pure fury, turning your Rage into a Frenzy! While in a Frenzy, you can create further chaos with new abilities, dealing some serious damage to your enemies. Two attacks are better than one with a Frenzied Strike.
Wildheart
Appoint a Bestial Heart to inspire you, granting different combat actions depending on the heart (and piercings!) Stampede over your foes, Cleave them in two, or simply buff your allies - it’s good to be wild.
Merciless, furious and bursting with chaos energy, Patch 7 introduces the Barbarian! Channel your Rage to unlock devastating actions and maintain it to keep those battle perks going.
As you level, you’ll choose between two subclasses: Wildheart & Berserker.
