Come on guys, please don't let this get lost in newest.

We tried to get a car cake...next time.
Enjoy the cup cakes :)
If everyone could stop threatening to eat or insert things if specific content gets announced that would be great.

Just curious, but what exactly is the story behind totalfps being a droid? I see this a lot but I didn't catch the story from the beginning.
Have you ever heard the story of Darth Gonk the wise...?

Thanks

Idk if you saw my comment the other day, but a CT/Survey on music would be incredible.
CT in what way?
Can we get a CT about writing a CT? Just like the VFX one recently. Thanks.
CT Inception.
Hey everyone,
We've got another community survey for you, but first a recap of some of the things you mentioned last month.
Incredible!
One of the most impressive things I've seen come from the community.
INCOMING TRANSMISSION
Explosions, blasters, smoke, steam, fire, rain, lightning. Odds are that you’ve encountered these, and many more, of the Visual Effects (VFX for short) during your time playing Star Wars™ Battlefront™ II. Today we take a look at how VFX fit into the game, as well as the process behind some of them.
Despite their ubiquitousness, it can be quite difficult to pin-point exactly what VFX are in a game. Senior VFX artist Anders Egleus reflects on this.
“Most people associate VFX with sprites, i.e. flat planes with transparent textures. But modern game engines like Frostbite have become so flexible and powerful that we can now use our VFX tools to create a lot of things that traditionally would have to be created by other parts of the game team, e.g. animation, lighting, technical art, even code. From birds and leaves on Naboo, to full scenes of background fighting with vehicles and hundreds of soldiers on Ge...

No, you need to log in after it has been completed in order to gain the reward no matter if you had participated before that point or not.

Once the Community Quests have been completed, whatever time is remaining - you would be able to log into the game and collect the reward.
can u please acknowledge that Maul's victory pose wasn't granted to people who participated in the event? I mean I got the voice line so why not the pose? u/f8rge u/ea_charlemagne
We have responded to this throughout Twitter, Reddit and the Forums. The team are aware of this issue and are working out ways to resolve it for those that should have received the reward. I don't have much else to say, but we are aware of it.

Each week we will be launching a pair of two Community Quests for a specific Clone Wars-era hero or villain. Starting on July 25th until August 4th, we’ll have General Grievous-themed challenges. Once the challenges below have been reached, the rewards for them will become available to anyone that logs in before the Community Quest ends.
Check back within the thread to see overall community progress!

Could be fun, but is outside of the scope of what we'd do for a weekend event.
How would you feel about troopers only in a game mode or maybe HvV with lightsabers / blasters only?

As a rule of thumb, the Audio team who do recordings aren't busy working within code to fix bugs.
Game development is made up of many multi-disciplined teams, each with their own focus. There are cross overs at times, granted. Audio team would work on fixing Audio related issues.
If you could add one voice line to Star Wars Battlefront II, what would it be?
Across all eras please.
External link →Hopefully they’re saving the scream for an emote instead of a voice line? I don’t think the line would be as interesting without the body language.
This. We'd of course really like to use the KENOBIIIIIIIIIIIIIII but feel like it's much more suitable to be an emote. Due to our patch timelines we didn't have the time to do the required animation that would come alongside it in time for July.
Thanks everyone, been traveling all day but just got shown this.
Appreciate the warm words.
