Thank you for taking the time to create this report. Make sure to report all suspicions in-game also as this provides our team with necessary information immediately upon submission. A few notes regarding in-game reporting and the submission process:

  • In-game reports work.
    • We have investigated and enforced on more accounts through in-game reports than all combined social media reports.
  • Investigations are thorough and may take time.
    • Investigation intends to make the right decision, which may impact community definitions of timeliness or consideration. Popular sentiment on an allegation or set of claims is unfortunately not a decree of action.
  • We do actively monitor.
    • In-game or social media reports aren't our only solution or system for security and enforcement.
  • We take this seriously.

All this should be enought for a good investigation of this person at least?

Previous threads and examples were forwarded at that time and investigations occurred. When I forward a thread or when a report in-game is sent, an investigation occurs per our Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Security & Enforcement Policy. I will forward this thread as well for an additional measure, but in-game reports are the preferred method of reporting.

In the future, please tag me in the comments too. Tagging in the body of the post doesn't always commit.

Doesn’t do any good to post this. Ppl post videos of hackers all the time and nothing is ever done. They say they do things about it but that’s why Xbox and strange are still playing. Same with raky (now TUNSi)

While we encourage and suggest in-game reporting at all times, players who share video evidence of their allegations have it shared directly with the team that manages our policy enforcement and investigations.

Please get that goon banned

Thank you for the tag.

Edit: I didn't see "Please get that goon banned."

OP states they have reported in-game and that will be utilized to perform an investigation. Threads like this are precarious because it doesn't show the full context of the match. In this video, we see the OP clearly being attacked but also attacking/provoking back. In a scenario of "take my word over theirs" with an edited video, there is a credible margin of error. How do we solve that? By investigating to remain objective and that's what will happen.

I'm going to recommend that the moderators close this thread because of this exact possibility.

I did but what’s that gonna do 🤷‍♂️

It'll send all of the relevant information to our studio to perform an investigation in accordance with our Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Security & Enforcement Policy. Reporting in-game is always the best course of action to take when someone is doing something to the effect of griefing.

Honestly, this really isn't on Treyarch, this is simply the nature of PC gaming. There pretty much always has been and will very likely always will be similar cheating on PC games. Just because the services are still available does not mean nothing has been done on their end. At the end of the day as soon as a fix is implemented in game, a workaround will be created to get the bot/script/cheat, etc back up and running.

The same type of stuff exists for Modern Warfare and damn near every other PC game around. If you know where to look you can find scripts for something as high profile as LoL. The harsh truth is cheating in PC games is not going anywhere anytime soon. It is what it is.

The history of humanity in the smallest package possible. Someone builds something and someone else will try to break or exploit it. A fix is established and that fix is investigated to attempt to circumvent it. A tale as old as time.

We monitor, we investigate, and we enforce. The cat/mouse game is always in play.

I did a quick research to find out where these cheaters get their stuff from, which lead to a public forum in which I took the screenshot above. This dude is _selling_ a PC hack for a monthly fee since october 2018, and he still is.

I don't want to blame anyone, and I'm tagging /u/FoxhoundFPS & /u/ATVIAssist just for visibility. I'm a developer myself and I get that things like anti-cheats can take time to improve. But I'm a bit shocked that a cheat findable in a public post in a public forum (with 950+ post interactions) is not noticed by Treyarch. This dude (and others, I guess) are literally getting paid by ruining your game and your (paying) players experience.

I reported to Treyarch this user and post privatel...

Doing nothing will make it die sooner.

This has never been the case. Any and all information you have sent to us has been forwarded to the appropriate teams and we're actively monitoring and enforcing.

The constant "they don't do anything" or "they don't care" approach you take across most of your posts is exactly why I distance my engagements with you. There are only so many positive engagements I can take with someone who consistently asserts that "nothing" is done before I simply stop engaging. You've certainly reached that point.

Have a good day, /u/aur0n.
