You're actually in luck as I've had some detailed conversations with our team, major shouts to Beenox, about this, and was considering posting just now. Let's make some statements.

  • Our hip-fire sensitivity is 1:1 with MW.
  • Our Relative Sensitivity mode is operating as expected from MW to CW.
  • Our ADS zoom varies across weapons and scopes, as you would expect, which will impact ADS sensitivity in both Relative and Legacy modes.
  • Legacy ADS is respective to Legacy Treyarch titles, not Legacy IW titles, with a noticeable difference between the Treyarch and Infinity Ward Legacy mode experiences. Relative mode is virtually the best case for consistency across both.

We are continuing to monitor feedback regarding sensitivity conversations and experiences.

Because I recorded a macro that in MW19 would move the gun to the point that was initially on the edge of the monitor. And in BOCW the macro when executed moves the gun to that same point on the edge the field of view with that exact same sensitivity.

Yet you say it's not the same, revealing that it does not 'feel' 1:1 and that you needed different sensitivities, possibly the inconsistency I am talking about?

Will double-check for PC.

It just feels extremely 'floaty' when switching between targets. I use exact same settings in MW19 but it feels completely off.

Have you tried shifting to instant instead of gradual ADS as suggested by peers?

Our sensitivity is not 1:1 with MW. I use a 10.2 in MW/WZ and a 9.35 in CW.

Blog Update: We've updated our Bug Fixes section to provide context regarding controller issues.

  • Fixed: Controller input locked if a keyboard + mouse was used in a previous session.
  • Investigating: An issue where a controller can become unresponsive when loading into a match. [Example Thread]

Yes, Xbox players will need the code to preload. PC will not.

Just to make sure that I understand this correctly:

  • You have both controller and KBM connected to your PlayStation 4 currently?
  • When you play in-game it states that your KBM is locked while having it selected as the preferred input device.
  • Restarting your game and console return you to playing the game with KBM selected as input?

If possible, please switch your input to the controller and restart your game with that setting selected. Reboot the game, switch back to KBM, and see if it is still locked.
