I never enjoyed playing FPS on console and I've missed out on this milestone. Can't believe how well the design holds up even today and I can now see how strongly it influenced the genre. Actually really enjoyed it.

The games economy is designed around power progression.

Economic systems are rather complex and we didn't have a reason to believe it didn't work as intended. During the introduction of new currencies (Scrap and Tokens) it quickly became clear that there was a bug we weren't aware of previously.
