[2020] city skylines assets not showing in game

Are you using the Loading Screen Mod? If yes, check the Options for it. If it's set to only load used assets, then that would explain why they show up in the editor and not in your city (if they haven't been placed, the game won't load them).

If the latter, then try logging out of Steam, shutting Steam down completely, restart and log in. Then start the game and see if they're there.
