The 100 gems are still there! We split up the 100 gems:

5450 -> 100 Gems

to

5225 -> 40 Gems

6150 -> 60 Gems

We did this as part of a rebalance to the Trophy Road rewards, bringing more rewards to lower tiers. Moving the gems down will ensure far more players will get some gems (the peak of players is around 5300, there's a big drop-off after that mark). We also moved lots of Gold lower - all the Gold nodes are 5000 now instead of 2000, 3000, etc at lower trophy ranks. We have re-introduced the choose-your-reward tiers with seasonal themed cards after fixing bugs and listening to player feedback on how the choices should work. Finally, chests have been moved lower including an Epic Chest at the first set of rewards.

Overall, Trophy Road is slightly more valuable - about 3-4% than before - but the rewards have shifted downwards so the players in the 4000-5300 range should feel much more rewarded than before. Players who complete the ...

Hey everyone!

Season 4 is just around the corner (October 7th) and we wanted to share the balance changes that will be taking place before they drop.

Alongside the balance changes, Clash Royale game designer Seth (u/Supercell-Seth) has provided the 'why' behind them - which you can read below the stat changes.

Expect spooky cards. Let's go!

WITCH - REWORK!

  • Hitpoints: -12%
  • Damage: +220%
  • Hit Speed: -40%
  • Splash: -45%

Changes to spawned Skeletons

  • Spawns 4 Skeletons around the Witch
  • Spawn Time slower 5sec > 7sec
  • No longer spawns Skeletons when destroyed

supercell ID should now be connecting properly.

seems we underestimated the amount of people that wanted that chicken emote! we did some work on our SCID servers to handle the traffic better and it should be functioning normally.

sorry this happened - i understand it would have been super frustrating.

also, your 24 hour timer should also be reset so that you can try again now, even if you got that message.

what happened before was you would pay a cost, and then get that gold straight back. so you weren't actually earning any gold from donating max troops.

we simplified this to FREE to take out the unnecessary exchange

Known issues/Bugs (for visibility in stickied bot comment)

  • Party mode not awarding chests FIXED
  • Clan chat/Clan War empty FIXED
  • Google Play store stuck in an update loop (out of our control unfortunately but will update when it is there!) FIXED
  • Players receiving an error message from Supercell ID when entering email FIXED
  • VISUAL BUG ONLY Trophies show lost/gained in Party modes FIXED
  • Game crashing after Trades are completed (requires several restarts/a short wait to load game again) FIXED
  • Hitting 'YES' on the 'do you want to play anyway' box with full chest queue puts you into a 1v1 battle FIXED
  • Miner Star Level 2 not showing

PARTY!

The 2v2 button has been replaced with the Party button. The function of the Party button is simple. You hit the Party button, and you can play a variety of game modes solo or with friends!

Alongside the regular 2v2 mode (2v2 IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE), there will be constantly rotating game modes in the Party button for you to play - they change every 48 hours - and you know what the best part is?

Any match played from the Party button can give:

  • Crowns
  • Victory Gold
  • Chests

as someone who usually fills my pass royale after 2 or 3 weeks, i would be surprised too!

however, there are some players who do not manage to fill their pass so easily, especially if they've joined later and the season, and we do not want to make them feel like they've missed out on cool stuff just by not playing since day 1 of the season.

season 4 will also be bringing some more ways to earn crowns to help these players out!

as seth said in the video, gold rush isn't going anywhere - so you'll still have a chance to earn extra gold through that.

We do have plans to release more Common cards! Interestingly enough, Commons tend to the be the hardest cards to design. We generally want Commons to be very mechanics-light, easy to understand. With most of the basic cards already designed (Knight, Barbarians, Goblins, etc) its difficult to come up with new cards, with few mechanics, that don't overlap with existing cards. Sure, we COULD make another mini-tank with no special abilities that happens to cost 4, but that feels really cheap on our part compared to something with a lot of new stuff. Having a lot of new mechanics, however, naturally drifts a card to Epic or Legendary.

If I could go back in time, I think cards like Mega Minion and even PEKKA would make more sense as Commons, whereas cards like Tesla or Skeleton Barrel should probably be Rares or higher. But we are challenging ourselves to think of more Common/Rare type cards, and I don't think you'll have to wait too terribly long for a non-Legendary release :)

nope, cards will not be able to be played during this time, but the animation will better visualize the tiebreak to players. it will be a matter of seconds
