Hey @damian_x_pl

That issue was not covered by our latest hotfix. It has been fixed internally, though, and it will come out with an upcoming patch.

Hey there,

Quick update: Our team is testing some fixes that could potentially improve performance on consoles based on the feedback we gathered from our community. We don’t have any estimated time yet for its release, but our plan is to release it as soon as it passes our QA tests.

Hey everybody,

We just released a hotfix that aims to improve performance on PS4. It’s another step towards our objective of improving overall performance in the game. Please note that this patch is aimed at reducing the stuttering and lag during gameplay. Any reported crashes will still happen as he have not addressed that. It will come in a later patch, along with more improvements.
Thanks for your feedback and patience, once again.

We want to be cautious in how we phrase our patch notes. As this is still an ongoing work in progress, we do not feel confident to claim all stuttering has been eliminated. Rather, we kept progressing towards our objective of making performance be more solid. The upcoming building optimizations would be another step towards this goal, and so on.
For the time being, we’re interested in knowing if you felt a noticeable improvement regarding performance while playing the game. In particular, the annoying stuttering and lag at random locations.

Hey @xxmattattackxx

Our team is aware of the performance issues affecting the Playstation4 Pro systems and they’re looking into it. For now, some users suggested that installing the game into a SSD hard drive (external or internal) seems to greatly reduce the effects.
We understand this is a frustrating situation and we appreciate your patience while we’re looking into it. Thanks.

Hey @Nomad3894

We’re aware of that issue and a fix for it will come bundled in the upcoming parity patch.
Please keep this thread for performance issues only (framerate, stuttering and so on)

about 5 years ago - Ignasis - Direct link

Please keep the thread on topic. For general discussions of the game, we have a separate section for it.
If there is any bug you wish to report, please open a new thread providing as much constructive information as possible.
Thanks.

Hey @Speedie778

Welcome to our community.
Please make sure to send the crash report through the PS4 dashboard once prompted so our team can get a look at them. We’re currently working on fixing some of the most common crashes our team received that way.
Thanks for your feedback.

Hey there @Ktjo31

Our team is looking into the performance issues on the PS4 Pro and the crashes affecting the console versions. As always, if you’re affected by a crash, please send the report through the PS dashboard so our team can access it. For performance regarding the PS4 Pro, our team is scanning this thread so please feel free to share as much information as you can about it.

Regarding this issue, we have been tracking down that one on PC for a while and we issued a hotfix for it this week. We’ll release it on all platforms soon, along with a few extra fixes.

Hey @Braychapp

Welcome to our community.
That’s an unrelated problem to any performance issues. We’re aware of an issue when upgrading a temple that could cause it to disappear in the process. The mesh of that placeable sometimes shifts its position slightly, so if there is any part of the geometry or other pieces nearby that would get in contact with the altar, it disappears before completing the upgrade. Make sure to build them in a space that has plenty of room around so it doesn’t collide with anything.

Hey @sestus2009

If you experience a crash and you get the “blue screen”, you will be sent to a form that lets you send the crash report to the developers. If that is cancelled and not sent at that moment, it will be lost and we cannot receive it.

about 5 years ago - Ignasis - Direct link

As stated a few times above, the workaround is not ideal and our team is looking into the performance issues. We’re not “keeping quiet” nor “hoping people will move on”.

about 5 years ago - Ignasis - Direct link

It’s sent to them who then relay it to our team in case it’s on the game’s end.

Hey there,

Please keep this thread for performance issues only (stuttering, crashes, FPS).
If you have issues different to these ones, please open a new thread following these steps:

Thanks

Hey @Speedie778

Our team has isolated that crash and they’re working on a fix. They’re also taking a look at the PS4Pro rendering issues. No ETA for the fixes yet.

Hey everybody,

Welcome to our community.
Regarding the buildings not loading, that’s an issue we’re tracking right now on PC and we’ve almost wrapped up patching it on that platform. Once it’s ready, we’re going to bundle all the hotfixes released and ship it to all platforms.
Regarding the PS4Pro issues, QA has started intensively testing performance in that system under different circumstances. They have started to isolate some of the possible issues that could be causing it.
Regarding crashes, our team fixed a crash internally caused by browsing the inventory on certain circumstances. We’ll release that fix as soon as possible. As always, please send your crash reports through the PS dashboard once they happen, so our team can look into them.
Thanks everybody for your feedback and patience.

Hey everybody,

Quick update: Our team submitted two internal fixes for performance and stuttering issues on Friday (they now need to go through QA), and they’re looking at the PS4Pro loading issues (invisible enemies).

Hey everybody,

Quick update: our team is wrapping up a patch with several PS4Pro performance tweaks and fixes, along with some general crash fixes. We aim to release it as soon as possible.

Hey @Porpman

Could you elaborate a bit more about this? You’re movign it from your radial menu to your inventory?

almost 5 years ago - Ignasis - Direct link

Hey there,

Quick update: our team is still investigating new measures to improve performance on Pro systems as well as monitoring the most frequent crashes.
If possible, for those reporting PS4Pro issues, could you attach a video showcasing the performance issues you’re reporting?
Also, as always, if you experience a crash please send the report through the PS dashboard once prompted so our team can access it.
Thanks in advance for your feedback and patience.

Thanks for sharing the extra details @Novikthewise. Our team is looking into it.

almost 5 years ago - Ignasis - Direct link

Thanks for the detailed information @Coolbird9. Our team will use it to investigate. A video would be of enormous help if you wouldn’t mind to share it with us.

Regarding crashes, please remember to send the crash report through the PS dashboard once prompted, so our team can access it.
@Coolbird9, thanks for the video. Sending it to our team

Hey @HexingCutioner

Mind if I merge your thread into the Performance issues thread?
Could you provide a video of those issues in action?
Thanks for your feedback and welcome to our community.

almost 5 years ago - Ignasis - Direct link

Unfortunately, Conan Exiles is a CPU-intensive game. The PS4Pro version does indeed run at higher settings than regular PS4 models, which are mainly GPU-focused to take advantage of that edge you just mentioned @Novikthewise.
Our tech team is now following on the groundwork provided by the optimization patch released a few weeks ago, so we’re aiming to deploy these new improvements soon. They’ll be targeting the PS4Pro issues. Additionally, the most reported crashes on all models are now being investigated and worked on. Hopefully, those fixes will come along within the same patch, but as for now we cannot share any ETA yet.
Thanks again for the feedback and patience.

almost 5 years ago - Ignasis - Direct link

Hey everybody,

Quick update (again): We’re currently juggling with the certification process for the next patch. We’re aiming to include both PS4Pro optimizations and PS4 crash fixes, although it’s possible that only one of those fixes will make it into the next patch if including both delays the whole process.
Thanks again for your feedback and patience.

almost 5 years ago - Ignasis - Direct link

PS4Pro optimizations is the most likely to be included in the patch, while we’re currently waiting if the crash fixes can make it into the new build of the game as well without further delaying the process. If so, they will be included with the patch after this one.

Thanks for the video @ramoaq, and welcome to our community. We’ve edited your message so the link shows correctly. We’ve also sent it to our team.

almost 5 years ago - Ignasis - Direct link

Hey everybody,

We released a new set of optimizations for PS4Pro systems. Could you let us know if you could feel any performance improvements if you’re playing on that system model?

almost 5 years ago - Ignasis - Direct link

Thanks for the confirmation @Novikthewise

That seems like an odd one. Could you open a new thread and give us as much information as you can about this so we can properly forward it to our team?
Thanks in advance (and again)

Hey there,

This seems to be more of a network performance issue with server 3827 in particular. Is there a lot of players online when those issues happen? Also, are there a lot of player-made buildings and thralls?
