Which specific GPU do you have in the 7900 series?
How much RAM do you have on your system?
Are you using updated drivers for your GPU and is your Windows up-to-date, optional updates included?
It’s possible that your GPU is having trouble handling the game as it may fall under the minimum requirements, which could be behind the crashes and the trouble loading into a certain area.
We’d recommend trying to set all the graphical settings to the minimum and to try running the game in windowed mode to see if it’s able to load into your last save.
