This is my last day at Funcom as a member of the community team as I’ve been given the opportunity to work my dream job elsewhere which, after much thought, I decided to finally move forward with this next step in my career.

These last 2 years have been both challenging and exciting, and I’m thankful that I was able to be a part of an extremely hard-working team that does its best to communicate your issues and concerns to the developers.

I also want to extend my thanks to the community, for being so supportive and passionate about Conan Exiles, and to the modders as well for bringing out its full potential.

Shine on, you crazy diamonds!

Hi @JIeone2, welcome to the forums, we apologize for this bad experience but, as Narelle has kindly mentioned, this is one of those edge cases that might happen due to issues with the drive CE is installed to.

We’d suggest that you try to perform a full reinstall to a different drive, if possible.

Hi @HAILSTONE, baby animals should spawn at a much lower rate than adult animals, and might be harder to spot at times.

Regarding the NPC spawning issue, does it occur in areas where you haven’t built and therefore are not claimed? If you linger in the areas for a few minutes, do they end up spawning?

Is your respawn rate set to the default value, and does changing it and restarting your session produce any effect?

Please be aware that, depending on the size of your save, NPC spawn rates while in singleplayer or coop sessions might take additional time in comparison to what you would experience in a dedicated server.

Hello @hal9000, we’d suggest that you first ensure that your save is stored on the XBOX cloud, before trying to follow the steps below:

  • Reset the console cache by holding the power button for about 10 seconds until the console powers off, then disconnecting it from the power outlet for a couple of minutes.

  • If the issue persists, try to perform a soft factory reset while keeping games and apps.

  • Should you still have trouble loading into the game, please try to do a full reinstall of the game.

This PC patch has been released for both the Steam and Microsoft Store builds to ensure parity between these versions.

It’s advisable to restart servers at least once per day to prevent issues such as desync (which affects timers, spawners, AI, and other actors) and ensure optimal stability and performance.

If the issue persists or returns after following this procedure, you should reach out to G-Portal so that they can verify the integrity of the server files.
