[2019] Climbing issues after patch 1.40 - Please report here

Hey everybody,

We’re aware of an issue that prevents climbing in certain locations of the map, mainly in underground caves or locations. Our team is working on a fix and we aim to release it as a hotfix soon.

Due to the overwhelming number of threads about it we’re going to merge all existing ones into this thread. Please make sure to check the forums before posting about an issue that has been posted previously.

Quick heads-up: this issue has been fixed internally and will be released as a part of a hotfix that covers other critical issues as soon as it passes certification.

Quick update: we released a hotfix on PC that fixes this and other critical issues introduced in the latest patch. The patch was sent to certification that same day, so it’ll come out on consoles once it passes that process. You can take a look at the patchnotes here:

It does not yet, as it is not listed in the patch notes.

It’s still on certification. Should be out in a day or two depending on how it develops, although it could take longer due to unforeseen circumstances.

What a stark testimony. You shall be avenged.

Anyhow, the patch is still in certification but it is possible it will pass it during the day so we can release it tomorrow.
