Hey @GodlyVoice

Thanks for the feedback. Just in case, are you playing using the separate Testlive client, or the beta branch in the main game? Issues like this one usually show up when playing with the separate client, which could explain this problem :slight_smile:

@Darkzombie
This forum is for Testlive feedback exclusively, and this thread is reporting an issue within that branch. Please do not send any off-topic messages that have nothing to do neither with the platform or the bug reported in this thread.

Thanks for the confirmation @GodlyVoice . Then this is issue is possibly caused by playing on the separate client.
We are looking at ways of being able to workaround this and other related issues (such as the bright gloop and some assets), but for now the most reliable way is to use the beta branch of the main client, which is a bit inconvenient unless keeping two separate install folders.

Keeping two separate folders, as in, having the live game folder backed up at an external location (i.e. desktop) then reinstalling the game with the testlive beta branch at its normal installation folder. Once you want to go back to the live game, just swap the folders.
It’s what I’ve personally used for a few months now, to make sure I don’t stumble into this kind of issue. A bit of a clunky workaround, but works. :sweat_smile:

Edit: Just realised, I forgot to also mention! When swapping the folders, remember to also set the game branch to its correct setting as well, otherwise Steam will override the new files once it checks game integrity!
