[2023] CK3/PDX Launcher is not responding (Mac)

We don't see any errors or problems in those logs, unfortunately. But you might try that folder deletion again BUT install from this updated version instead:

Whether that helps or not, does the game run okay from ck3.app directly from Finder?

They are not. You must have run the launcher from the desktop shortcut or Paradox launcher.exe, which is a standalone mode for users who do not want to run Steam. It does need a separate game installation if used that way, but this game was never ported to that platform. You'll need to run it from the PLAY button in your Steam Library instead.


I frankly don't know why you can run the launcher in standalone mode but Steam cannot run it in Steam-compatible mode - it's the same app.


Can i get new copies of all those launcher logs please, since the clean reinstall.
