Yes, Vulkan is really only provided in the Windows edition for diagnostic purposes, rather than being intended as a permanent thing to use.
The problem is with your nVidia driver or card:
- uninstall it with this https://developer.nvidia.com/cleanup-tool
- reboot
- install August 2023 by fresh download https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
- reboot again
AND you may as well run this Windows repair tool
If you still get those driver errors in dxdiag after that, please contact nVidia support for help.
