After Sancho's assassination, Urraca summoned his nobles so they could acknowledge Alfonso as heir to Castile & León. However suspicion remained, and they forced him to swear his innocence in front of St. Gadea's Church. Urraca continued to rule Zamora as Alfonso's close advisor.
#CK3Stories Sancho was resolved to rule over his father's kingdom. By 1072, Sancho had overthrown his brothers Garcia & Alfonso... But during the siege of Urraca, he was stalled and then mysteriously assassinated... possibly the result of a pact between Alfonso & Urraca.
