Night City Wire is back — with a special Phantom Liberty episode! We’ll talk about new radios, learn more about Reed from Idris Elba himself, discuss gameplay & new abilities… and throw in a surprise or two. Don’t miss it!
Today, we’re taking a look at another new feature coming to the Cyberpunk 2077 base game as part of the free Update 2.0, which will be available for current-gen consoles and PCs: vehicle combat and car chases!
There are in fact three new ways to take out enemies from the safety of your car besides just running into them. Don’t get us wrong, that’s always an option — but make sure not to explode and flatline yourself!
The first new option is shooting your pistols or SMGs either from the back of your motorcycle, straight through your car’s windshield, or out of its side window. In the case of cars with CrystalDome tech, you can instead open the sliding doors and shoot out that way. Whi...
The very definition of clandestine. This club, owned by Hansen and located on top of his sanctuary, lures in elite players not just from Night City but from around the world. It's a secure place to make all sorts of shady deals — secure from all except the watchful eye of Kurt, naturally.
Kurt’s not the blood-thirsty warlord folks like to think. He’s a natural-born leader. A shrewd operator, revered by his crew. Once upon a time, he got left in the lurch by his former employer. So he flipped the script. Set up shop in Pacifica’s inner sanctum. Used his savvy on wartime hustling to hammer out his own destiny. Now, business is booming, for better or worse.
Wanna cut a deal with the devil? Go ahead. Just don't cry foul when you can't handle the heat.
Lizzy Wizzy, Night City’s biggest pop star, is returning to Cyberpunk 2077 in its expansion Phantom Liberty. As always, the cyber-modified musician will arrive in style, this time wearing special headgear designed by the highly acclaimed Japanese futuristic artist, IKEUCHI. As you can see, the headpiece includes golden metal shards pointing towards the sky which perfectly complement Lizzy Wizzy’s metallic, silver skin and iridescent eyes, bringing the character’s look together to truly reflect the tech-enhanced future of Cyberpunk 2077.
Take a look at one of the new features coming to Cyberpunk 2077 in the free Update 2.0 for the base game, which will be available on current-gen consoles and PCs: a revamped Police system!
We rebuilt the system on clear, simple rules: criminal activity is punished, runners are chased and cyberpsychos are flatlined, no questions asked. All features in the system are designed to support clarity and the simple but expanded prevention loop.
The punishment for those who don't abide by the law must be severe — we cannot encourage cyberpsychos to run around the city, guns blazing, even in Night City. UI will clearly indicate all states of the prevention system — Heat. For those who reach the maximum...Read more

Alicja Kozera and Amelia Kołat, our Senior Community Managers, together with Kacper Niepokólczycki, Lead Environment Artist, and Gabriel Amatangelo, Game Director, showcased Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. Here’s a brief summary of what transpired:
Come September, we’ll see a total overhaul of perks in Cyberpunk 2077. Skill trees have been rearranged and you’ll need to redistribute points anew. Your perk points will be reset by default, but in addition to that all players will now be able to do a single attribute reset too (yes, all players, including new playthroughs)!
The Pacifica project, Militech’s ace in the hole — till the game got canceled. A desperate move to buff their tarnished rep in Night City, so the story goes. But was it just a PR ploy? Or is there something more sinister lurking beneath?
Deep in my gut, a hunch is telling me to let this sleeping dog lie.
Get ready for the next episode of REDstreams, where our hosts Amelia Kołat and Alicja Kozera, together with their guests: Kacper Niepokólczycki (Lead Environment Artist) and Gabe Amatangelo (Game Director), will discuss several features that come with the next major update and PhantomLiberty expansion!
