[2021] I can't join game after latest patch. friends are already in game and if I join, it drops me in the orbiter and not in game. after some time it shows lost connection with server and kicks me out if the team. I can't see them when I join the team as well, doesn't even show in team info

There was a hotfix released for the patch shortly after. You may need to restart Steam.
