[2022] How do you guys feel about pre-exploring the map on Escort missions?

Greetings fellow dwarves! Quick post to see if there is a consensus on Doretta mission etiquette or if I'm in the minority who gets annoyed at this.

I have 175 hours in the game, play mostly Haz 3, and a few times have been in games with players, most often drillers, who insist on drilling to the Ommoran before even getting Dotty out of the box and mining everything/doing all the events first. Personally I find it a bit annoying, it feels kind of boring. I don't mind pre-exploring the first room to get some extra nitra if the spawn room is bare, but otherwise, why? I prefer to go back to do any events after the Ommoran. What about you guys?
