DRG is a satire of capitalism so they’re just playing into the joke

I was looking for dumb examples and that was all I could think of.

Whose gonna explain to the devs that the whole premise for their game and livelihood is "bad word"?

Who’s gonna explain that it was a joke?

I didn't say it was on reddit. It was on steam forums when you had your moment. I'm not going to announce my name so you can what, ban me harder?

Actually, if what you’re saying was true, I’d probably give you an apology and unban you, but since I normally ban people for toxic behaviour or spam, you’re leaving out context.

It's a piece of cosmetic they give out solely to people who help advertise the game, and the requirements to get it as a Streamer are (relatively) hefty: to get it you need to have 100+ subscribers, have to play at least twice a month, etc. Go to twitch and look at the DRG streamers, most will have 0-14 people watching at any time so even if you're a dedicated DRG streamer you likely won't qualify. There's a rumor that "content creators" who don't stream can also get it but I've never ever heard of anyone getting it for non-Streaming stuff, not even the people who post on the subreddit with original artwork and whatnot. So unless you are a super streamer who probably barely plays DRG in the first place or you randomly get selected to receive the package for "content creation", you'll never get a chance to have the suit.

Armor cosmetics are extremely rare and the only high tier set you can unlock is the scale brigade which is...eh (not to mention it's just every class's Mk3 armor with some dragon head shoulder pads slapped on). The color scheme is one of the best in the game too, but it's just locked away unused on a piece of armor that 99.99% of players you'll ever see wearing it have gotten through hex editors and the like.

It's not a BIG deal, but the people upset about it do have a point that a lot of early adopters didn't get much of anything special besides a hat, people who play the game tons and keep it alive don't get anything after level 100 (I'm seeing more and more 100+ players which means there is a small but dedicated group of players that are helping keep the game going that are probably not going to get anything further to show off how dedicated they've been to the game), and if you're making consistent DRG content like that person who posts those fantastic OC comics on here it's a crap shoot whether you'll receive it or not.

It's more that people are upset that advertisers get exclusive goodies while long time fans and persistent players are more or less shafted.

To put some perspective on this, it's pretty much an experiment for us. We're not fans of exclusivity in most cases, but we decided to try it out and see what happens. We're not in any way married to the idea of it staying exclusive.
