[2022] So glyphids hatch from eggs(first picture) because we can literally break them open and spawn a swarmer, right? So wtf is inside a "alien" egg? And why do the glyphids come to it when you pull it out?

Regarding theory 2. Maybe its a juvenile brood nexus? I mean we know nexuses have a symbiotic relationship with glyphids, the nexus makes glyphids(that sometimes bring it food i assume) and then it gets to live in exchange. Maybe the relationship is bigger then we though with glyphids going so far as to protect the eggs of a different species?
