[2021] Quick Thoughts on the Scrapped U35 Weapons

I love the weapon choices GSG made for the third class primaries, but im a bit sad that a few interesting prototypes have not been brought up recently. More specifically, the crossbow and the heavy particle cannon. These were shown on the third year anniversary stream for those who don't know.

I loved those weapons and think they would make a great scout and engineer secondary respectively and would have wanted to see them implemented as two new secondaries. I thought the rocket rifle was a little less exciting, but the concept could be used for a gunner secondary and i think that would fit well.

A problem is that it would be hard to place where they would be unlocked when a character is leveled up. The 2nd primary is unlocked at level 10, the 2nd secondary at level 15, and the 3rd primary presumably at level 20. But where would the 3rd secondaries go? level 25? That could work, but that might be too many missions given at one level. it could also go past the first promotion but i don't know if they will go that direction.

Did you guys like the weapon prototypes that haven't been shown since the third year anniversary stream? I'd love to hear your thoughts on whether or not they will be released or what's going to happen with them.
