What exactly is his intended role on the team?
Coming from a semi green beard (not grey yet, but I can hold my own in high haz), I’m not too sure.
Whenever I’m playing Scout, I usually find myself collecting ores, dumping power shots into priority targets to stunlock them, lighting caves, and staying alive so the team doesn’t all go down. Is this what you’re supposed to be doing? It feels low impact on mission success, like I’m just doing everyone’s odd jobs. Not that I don’t like it—he’s my most played class for a reason—but I’m wondering if beards greyer than I have wisdom to impart about the intricacies of scouting.
