Nope! That would probably hinder the fire-based weapons too much, which would be a bad time for all involved.

Yea after this next big update they have nothing else layed out for the future on there progression calendar which is a little scary. I really hope this game doesn’t go the Day Z route

We definitely have. We just cleaned up the roadmap at a recent update, to give it focus on current things. The old one had a lot of literal "maybe??" points, that could be misinterpreted.
Our internal plans definitely go on beyond this update, the next updates, and the inevitable 1.0 update.
