First off I just wanted to say for the people who don't know the current possible max triumph score in the game is 93,800 and there has been a bug where some people who have all the obtainable triumphs that have points done only show 93,750 in game. I know this isn't a pressing issue but for all the people who put in the time into doing them all it just sucks that yours are bugged out when someone else who has all the same ones done might not be. D2Checklist added a feature recently that lets you see if your account is bugged. You press a button on the website and it shows your "summed" score (basically the website manually adding them up) and then the "reported score" which is what is read in game. and if you have a difference of "50" your account is bugged. Here is an example of an account that has every triumph with points attached to it with the bug and here is an example of one that is at max and is not bugged. It's been something bothering a very small portion of players with no actual reasoning we could find behind it. So I set out to try to figure it out. I went about this by finding the lowest triumph score account I could find with the bug (to limit the triumphs it could be) and I found this one. With only 2,550 "reported" score it was very easy to limit the triumphs it could come from, after doing some more digging though about 60 accounts with the bug the only triumph I could find that was constant across all of them was the "IO Adventurous" triumph for completing all the adventures on IO. With no idea how it would only affect some I made a post on raidsecrets to share my finds and then u/Dragonful made the connection I could not. "Light.gg records a history of all API changes. It appears this triumph initially had a score of 0 when Forsaken launched but on 9/10/2018 (about a week after the Forsaken release) its score was updated to 50" If you look at the changes here you can see it too. Therefor what I believe to be causing it is that people who claimed the triumph before it was updated on 9/10/2018 didn't get the points for the triumph after they changed it to 50.

EDIT: Seems like the Github post on it from a few days ago got updated and a dev said it has been filed to be investigated.

EDIT2: Thank you kind stranger for the Platinum!

Edgar and Thornheart are great at what they do, API... but the API is reporting the total value in the database correctly, the API is working fine.

What happened is Bungie changed the point value on the "IO Adventures" triumph from being worth 0 to being worth 50 points, after some people already claimed it when it was worth 0 points.

That has nothing to do with the API... so Edgar and Thornheart probably aren't gonna be the ones to fix it.

This is what happens when you give the players their first downtime since Forsaken launched, they start finding more bugs! There's a significant portion of the playerbase who can never get to max triumph score due to this bug.

(secret fact - we're actually the same person! It is a very long and probably boring story as to why I ended up with two screen names!)

Stories are stories and I'm curious about this one now. 😂

Ha, so it's a somewhat boring story admittedly. I had the online handle VThornheart since I was a kid, and in college someone said "VT Hornheart? Like you're a horny guy from Vermont?" And I was like "uh, nope and I don't think I want anyone thinking it is." And thus I picked a different one. Eventually I realized that it didn't really matter what people thought of my screenname so I changed it back - and thus the nickname of my account is roughly based on the point in my life at which I created that account.

It's like if I had three Destiny characters, but they're all Titans!
