This week at Bungie, we are celebrating Gjallardays.
Early TWAB this week, but it’s also a short one. Since last week we dropped a six-thousand-word thesis, that will hopefully hold you over. Here in the U.S., we have a short week due to a turkey-related holiday where many thanks are given. Wherever you are and whatever holidays you have coming up, we hope you get to spend some time with your families. But feel free to sneak away to play some Destiny if the parade is dragging on and the Lions game has gotten out of hand.
Starting this week, the Bungie Store is celebrating Gjallardays by counting down to Gjallarhorn’s debut in Destiny 2. The celebration is running from November 23rd to December 7th.
Three of our partners, Just Geek, Level Up Wear, and Loot Crate, will also be offering discounts on Destiny-licensed merchandise for a limited time during Gjallardays, so keep your eyes peeled and grab those discounts while they last!

Previously on the TWAB, we told you about our ongoing quest to save our dear editor from his current place of living. Rats, hornets, mold, the list goes on. We spoke the other morning and he told me he heard a loud bang outside. When he went to investigate, he saw the large propane tank had rolled on its side and the connection had been pulled tight. He asked me if this was a problem. I’m no Hank Hill, but I do have a degree in fire protection, so my answer was... yes.

The 30th is now less than two weeks away. I must admit, that header image has got me super excited. That Marathon-inspired ornament set on a Guardian holding a Gjallarhorn is a great look. We’ve already shown off some of the cool stuff that is coming, but you know we will have a few things for you to discover on your own when the update goes live.

30TH ANNIVERSARY PACK
The 30th Anniversary Pack, launching on December 7, 2021, will function as DLC (such as Beyond Light or Shadowkeep) and not as Seasonal content. DLC licenses do not transfer between platforms with Cross Save like Seasons do.
This means that the 30th Anniversary Pack will be accessible exclusively on the platform it was purchased regardless of Cross Save setup. Players will need to purchase the 30th Anniversary Pack on each platform they intend to access it on.KNOWN ISSUES
While we continue investigating various known issues, here is a list of the latest issues that were reported to us in our #Help Forum:
- We’re investigating an increase in RUTABAGA errors.
