[2024] [BNG] Protect Yourself from Pony Error Codes

We've been intensely investigating the issue that is causing players to receive the Pony error code when receiving invites and messages from other players.

To protect yourself, we recommend you perform the following in your game settings under the Social tab:

• Turn off Friend and Clan invites
• Set Fireteam Invites to "Friends Only"
  • If you want to use Fireteam Finder, you could turn this back to public until you start the activity
• Set Whisper Chat to "Friends Only"
• Remove long lapsed inactive friends and clan mates in your roster
• and just for general security, remove players who you don't know from your friends list

We’re working to solve this issue as soon as possible. Once we announce the fix, feel free to change these settings again to your liking.
