With Destiny 2 coming up, and knowing our fate will inevitably be two guardians, controllers in hand, spending our every waking moment not at work playing this game, we figured we were in need of a celebration. And what better celebration than the joining of two Warlocks in light and love.

Some of you may know my amazing husband, Sean, as the guy with long hair and glasses on twitch, possibly twitter, or the 2016 in house DJ at Destiny Community Convention. I just know him as babe. Our journey started a little over a year ago, when I happened to be watching a twitch streamer that was interviewing him. Now this interview process was a common occurrence with various streamers, and one I never really paid much attention to. However, the day I heard Sean’s voice, I listened.

Fast forward past a slide into his dm’s, buying a copy of a game I had only played with my sister once (and back in the beta days a few times), thousands of memories, and one year later, I got to say “I do” to the nerd that stole my heart without ever trying. He is the kindest and sweetest human I know, and I couldn’t imagine a life without my light by my side. Most guardians have ghosts to keep their light strong, we have each other (Okay, and two really cute ghosts that accompanied us to our wedding.)

So, it’s my pleasure to announce to the Destiny Reddit world (which I have never said a word in),

Mr. & Mrs. Sean Bartley

Here are some of our wedding photos with the pieces of Destiny we included: http://imgur.com/a/CFZuZ

TLDR: We met through destiny, and got married June 3rd =]

It looks nice but I personally wouldn't have worn the cap I don't see them as wedding suitable. But hey it's there day and he got wear whatever he wanted and I couldn't have changed it so I tip my hat to him and say nicely done guardian. cayde-6 with spanner emoji

He didn't wear his hat during the wedding itself, but it's his thing so after made sense. I wore my pink converse with mismatched socks under my gown. It's just something we do so it made sense for us :)

Your post made me tear up, I love my lady with everything in me, but she hates gaming. I don't think we'll have good gaming memories. :(

Well, high five to you, and I hope one day she finds a game that changes her mind. Gaming has been one of the best bonding experiences for us. Before we met irl, I lived 12.5 hours away from him, and we spend our first "date" in the tower for 5 hours talking, dancing, playing with the tower ball, and he introduced me to all of the characters.
