After not playing for a month or two (and not planning to come back anytime soon without good reason) I picked up D2 again to run some nightfalls for the DFA (didn't get it, but am excited to try again next time around) and then to try IronBanner 6v6 (which is a blast!) This is the closest D2 has come to the enjoyable PvE grind and great PvP of D1. Good Job Bungie, I think this game can be saved

just some background, I'm a huge D1 fan with almost 1k hours in the game but left D2 to play other games when there was what felt like a content drought

Clarification: I'm enjoying that the game is moving in the right direction, not saying that this was all that needed fixing. I'm willing to play and enjoy the game I already payed for on the system I already own while I wait for bungie to keep following their plan.

I am just so happy to have something that more people want to play. I try to not give up hope on this game, its a huge part of my life and I will always have sentimental attachments to Destiny as a whole, but its really nice to have friends playing again. Playing iron banana for 6 hours last night was incredible.

How do you get friends to play? Every time i mention to my friends (ex fireteam) that some stuff has improved they look at me as if i am asking them to kill their dog

I guess I got lucky. My clan is filled with amazing humans and they don't always stick around, and a few have really pushed away from D2, but I have enough for a fire team and maybe a few extra, especially when times are better.
