I've never printed anything from thingiverse before, but I feel compelled to do so with the lack of lanyard or tripod mount on the Osmo pocket itself - and the fact that the official accessory mount covers up the connection port.

I've been looking at these, but I'm hesitant to go hunt down a way to get these printed and try them out without some more info:

Accessory mount that doesn't block the port: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3313142

Lanyard mount: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3331900

I see that there's several thickness variations of each. Anyone here tried them? How did it work for you? Would you recommend it, and what thickness/materials did you use?

Were there any others out there that you tried and would recommend?

I've printed quite a few different accessory mounts for the Osmo pocket via Thingiverse and prefer some more than others. However, I haven't printed either of the two you're referring to. Here's a list of the ones I printed that I found to be useful and actually fit well. I can provide pictures of the ones I've printed if you wanna see how they turn out.

As for thickness, I printed all of these as-is without any modifications. Hope this helps and best of luck with printing your mount!

Sweet - thank you for the info! I'll give those ones a look!

I went with this:

The first one I bought off thingverse was too large. The one I linked appears to be 3d printed. There’s a threaded metal insert which protects the threads of the plastic. The charging port is accessible. There’s an opening for the microphone. Not only does it work with standard tripod mount but you can repurpose GoPro accessories if you have them. Things solid.

Ooh, I like that one's multiple-mount-in-one solution!

With the way it's seated, would it fall out if you were to turn it upside down? Or is it held pretty firmly in place?

It’s firmly seated but I wouldn’t trust it upside down

Cool, good to know - thanks for all the info!
