Farming has become very difficult on my .9 server. All of my farm plots yield only 1 item per plant, making some plants (such as beans and camas) impossible to farm.

Things started out okay, but at some point I noticed that soil nutrient levels were at 0% across the board. Everywhere. Every single block I check has no nutrients, farmed or not. I started adding fertilizers on the assumption this would help yields, but it doesn’t seem to have an effect. I know fertilizers were bugged in .8, but I don’t know if that’s been fixed in .9. I’ll also admit I don’t know how fertilizers are supposed to work in general...How much of each nutrient is needed for each plant type? Can you fertilize too much and ‘burn’ your plants? Etc...

On top of this, the plant yield potential overlay on the map doesn’t work, so I don’t really know if I’m creating plots in optimal conditions. I’ve tried to set up plots for a plant in areas where I’m seeing lots of wild instances of that plant type, but this is pretty hit-or-miss.

Is anyone else experiencing these issues? Any advice would be welcome. Thanks!

Your nutritions shouldn't be gone to begin with.

Try
"/sim setlayer Potassium, 0.75"
"/sim setlayer Nitrogen, 0.75"
"/sim setlayer Phosphorus, 0.75".
