When I try to upload an image to the Community Generated Content section it shows up as only "image url" and the "choose file" option is missing. This happened when the categories changed.
The only way I could upload an image is by creating a draft in another category like General Discussion, upload an image, copy the url, go back to community generated content, and paste the url in the new post.

I checked our backend system and you should be able to upload. I'm going to escalate this to Vanilla (our forum provider) to make sure they know this is not working properly.
