New round of Fellowship Adventures

Dear Humans and Elves,

Brace yourselves!

On Thursday, August 17th, we will start a new round of Fellowship Adventures, so get your Fellowships together and grab some nice rewards!

We have made the following changes for the new round of Fellowship Adventures:

• Produce 50 beverages" quest is changed to "Produce 25 beverages.

Developers note: We acknowledge that the initial requirement was quite grindy so to address this, we experimented with a new condition that cuts the requirement in half but increases the number of badges needed. This change aims to maintain the overall balance while allowing to collect the Dwarven Brewery Badge more frequently.

• The coin requirement for Coin Sack badge is reduced by 6%.

dennise said: I noticed that one of the prizes is a 3 minute time boost. I've heard of some pretty measly prizes but this has to win the prize as the worst one ever. Does anyone remember a stupider prize?

Have you thought about Collectors? To have one of each of everything. 3 Minute Booster is extremely rare, as you only got those in very early Chapters!

In the last couple of months, we have executed and complete a very complex chapter migration targeting some players located in the initial chapters of the game. Today we would like to conclude this topic by sharing with you a reflection on this whole process.

Some history, for context
At the end of 2022 we updated the technology tree in the early chapters of the game. The objective was to improve the experience for new players and offer a more smooth and fun access to Elvenar.
It was a very successful change, and all new players from that moment started to experience the game with the updated technology tree.
We still had some players with the old version of the game because they started to play before this change, but we believed that over time they would have progressed quickly above chapter 5.

Hey guys, I have just added a note to the release, 1.180 is currently delayed while we deal with a few technical issues.  

Dear Humans and Elves,

We have today had to delay the release of the update to 1.180 due to technical problems.

Therefore none of the bug fixes OR the additional Province Expansion have arrived in the game.

Please bear with us while we work to resolve this, we hope to get the release now made within the next day or so.

@Sir Derf No, the Province Expansions are at no extra cost! You simply have to Scout and Complete the required number of Provinces. It's the Research Expansions that will cost Coins and Supplies  

Hi @OldHag it's scheduled for tomorrow (August 1) and I believe it's normally around 10/11am CEST! But don't quote me on that!

Release Notes

Dear Humans and Elves,

We will update our EN Worlds to Version 1.180 tomorrow, August 1st, 2023!

As with every update, we've resolved several bugs, among which:

Bug Fixes

• We have fixed a message issue where the order of messages was randomly changing when two messages were sent in the same second. Now the order is always the same.
• A Video Ads issue has been fixed. Sometimes the players were getting empty video ads.
• A display issue has been fixed at Spire where sometimes Mystery Chest was remaining after collecting the reward.
• A bug has been fixed that reduced Orcs as Encounter Costs in Provinces of Distance 14+ (not Tournaments)

Developer notes: We discovered an error in Negotiation costs required to finish an Encounter on the World Map.
The Orc values were off for higher distances, so it became cheaper and chea... Read more

Dear Humans and Elves,

With Chapter 21, a new map expansion is being added to the game for everyone who has completed (or will complete in the future) 660 Provinces on the World Map. This new map expansion will be already available with patch 1.180, even if Chapter 21 is not yet technically released. If you have completed 660 Provinces, you will then automatically get the expansion with version 1.180.
