• In the Empyrion root folder which can be found by right clicking on Empyrion in your steam library > Properties > Local files > Browse local files look for 'Empyrion.props' & open it with notepad++ or notepad & remove the # & return space before the parameter for example:
  
  # DisableTextureStreaming = true
  
  DisableTextureStreaming = true
  
  then save the file & try starting the game again.
  
  If there is still a crash at this point supply the logs folder that is generated for the build you are on found by right clicking on Empyrion in your steam lib...

Depends how u set it in the yamls.

Non of the dronebases are set to unlimited waves in the default game

Its an A10 thing. U can test it in a special scenario in A9
Doesnt work in Survival yet

U cant use a FTP drive as save game directory. U have to use the save game directory on the server.

You have to point in the dedicated.yaml the name of the save game to the same folder name as your previous save game

Yes but this kind of issue unfortunately doesn't appear until a server becomes highly populated.

We are really sorry, but we had to temporarily revert back to Unity 2018.1 (Alpha 9.6 - Build 2307) since UNET causes some problems that we need to address first. Your save games should be fully compatible with Alpha 9.6.

Alpha 9.7 (Build 2316) will stay on the EXPERIMENTAL branch.

This happenend to me as well and i was stuck in some download/update loop. I had to uninstall it and opt out all beta tabs and reinstall. I hope this helps

The options & difficulty settings are now in the gameoptions.yaml which can be found in the scenario folder of the scenario setup to be used in the dedicated.yaml.

For example look at the gameoptions.yaml for the Default Multiplayer scenario here:

mit einem Rechtsklick auf die Andockplatte beim bauen kannst Du wie bei Blöcken auch danach aus mehreren auswählen wenn Du wirklich alle erforscht hast.
Um Dein KR erfolgreich anzudocken müssen die Andockplatten zwingend das unterste Item sein an Deinem Schiff wenn da Wände/Platten verbaut sind zählt das als voller Block und die Andockplatten können evtl nicht sauber andocken, um anzudocken beim landen C drücken und halten bis Du das Andockgeräusch hörst.

Backup your belonging. Opt out all Betas, wait some second quit steam and may also restart you pc :) log back in to steam if there is still no download go to egs properties in the library and verify the game installation.
The process of downgrading playing and opt out to actuall public stable works just fine as i tested it bevore.
If nothing helps try uninstall the game then again egs properties in library and opt out - restart steam and reinstall

It's the decision of the devs to upgrade or not, as far as i know it's for Eleon now the second or third attempt to successful upgrade the engine to Unity 2018. Some Devs of other games just don't need to upgrade either because their game is allready finished and polished or they may wait for better versions with less struggle,.

i'm not the pro in this, but unity is the engine in wich empyrion is developed. This engine get independent of Eleon his own upgrades bugfixes ect. Upgrading to newer Versions (should) help in many ways.
