You would need to modify the GalaxyConfig before you have a SaveGame inside the Scenario you are playing.

So on a existing Save Game you cant modify this.
It will cause corruption

Or delete the easycheat.exe and folder and then verify the files
This will reinstall EAC and after it will work

You need to set the DLC flag in the dedicated.yaml to true and then you need to add the dlc content to the config files and playfield files of your own scenario.

One note. The DLC is not made for Custom Scenario's and not all options might fit in your custom scenario. Or work without issues.

Its not automaticly added. This is only done for the Vanilla Single Player Game.

If you own the DLC you can still play on Vanilla Servers. Vanilla Players without the DLC cant play on a DLC Server

We are already having an internal test candiadate for a fix - so should be fixed for the public version soon ;)

Phew... voice acting and videos is quite a challenge to be honest - for every game project. That is why many smaller games with small teams (like ours) try to do it "in engine" or not at all.

When you pay attention at the DLC start, we are already trying to figure out how to integrate these things in a good way maybe for future content updates. ;)

All our own scenarios work, its only the custom scenarios that dont work. We have normally no access to that. We are working in resolving the issue as soon as possible

No there is no option

In case you just installed the DLC you should have a new button on the main menu to start the Dark Faction scenario delivered with the DLC.

When you open the game / resume game overview you should also be asked if you want to try ot the Dark Faction. In that case the game will be modified and the savegame to "inject" some DLC contents.

What you can possibly do is to copy all the .epb files from the Dark Faction scenario > Prefabs into the Creative scenario

\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Content\Scenarios\Rise of the Dark Faction\Prefabs

to

\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Content\Scenarios\Default Creative\Prefabs

Then they should be available in the Blueprint libary to spawn. (In case that is what you wanted to do)

For now you can start a survival game and use the console "changemode" command (You can also go back and forth with that.

But the underlying question was if we can add a "DLC Creative" scenario so no one needs to use that workaround - correct?

Yes, everyone needs the DLC.

This particular issue we did find before release but haven't got a fix for yet hence why we are saying to not try using co-op with this scenario yet until we have a fix ready to go out.
As soon as a patch is ready for this you will be updated.

If you already have the base game you do only need the DLC of course. Then you technically have the "Complete Edition" ;)
