Greetings!

Today we release Europa Universalis IV: Origins - and together with a release like that we also make a major update to the game for everyone no matter if you own Origins or not. This update is called 1.32 Songhai, and it's a meaty one.

As usual - there might be unforeseen consequences if you load a <= 1.31.4 save in 1.31.5 - so it should be avoided if you can. If you still want to load an old save - make sure to create a backup if possible. You can also finish off your ongoing save in the previous version before updating. For instructions on how to revert to a previous version, ... Read more

Why voyage to distant shores when there is treasure and plunder so near by? The gold of our vassals will decorate our palace, and piles of plunder from looted rivals will fund our improvements. It is said that true growth comes from within, that nothing lasting can be built on the ashes of war. We say that true growth can also come from the enemies you make along the way. Now, with Europa Universalis IV: Leviathan, you can harvest your foes for development and profit.

Available today, Leviathan is the latest expansion to Paradox’s celebrated historical grand strategy game, and the first developed by Paradox Tinto. Leviathan adds a number of new diplomatic and domestic options, with more opportunities for expanding and improving your nation’s position as it competes for power from the Renaissance to the Age of Revolution.

Europa Universalis IV: Leviathan is available at major online retailers for the suggested ret... Read more

Salacavalini said: Does this include the European pistol-wielding Cuirassiers unit pack which was given exclusively to early adopters of the subscription service before today? Or is that no longer available?

That was included in the Emperor DLC - so if you purchase the subscription, or the Emperor DLC on it's own - you will get that unit model

This is a reminder that using "Kebab" and "Remove kebab" when referring to the Ottomans and/or Muslims in general is STRICTLY forbidden.

There has been a recent up-tick in usage of these terms so I am making sure that everyone is very, very aware of Paradox's stance.

Using these terms is considered racism, and so is against the Terms of Service and can result in infractions.
