It is with great excitement that I announce the newest addition to EVE Online Community Team – CCP Aurora!
CCP Aurora, formerly known as Katalya Myst, will be helping us out with various community initiatives, player outreach, and other plans we have in store for 2020!
I am sure you will give her a warm welcome and make sure her transition into this new exciting role is as smooth as undocking from Jita while wardecked! ^^
We are super excited to have a new member on the team and could not hold the excitement! As a Community Developer, CCP Aurora will also be heavily involved with the community and it is only appropriate for everyone to know to who they can reach out with questions or feedback

Hey everyone! Excited to talk spaceships with you all!
To introduce myself and my history in Eve:
I first started playing Eve back in 2006 when I was 15 years old (Katalya became my ‘main’ later on, but was not my first character). I began my career in a highsec corp, I spent time mining in a navitas and had my first taste of war as a self-proclaimed “E-WAR specialist” even though I didn’t know what sensor damps actually did at the time. From there I moved on to do industry in the dronelands, lead my first fleets during the fountain war (sorry Test) and - as my skills improved - went on to teach classes, run new player services and organize various special interest groups for Brave Collective. In 2018 I had the honor of leading Brave’s Alliance Tournament team to… well a couple wins at least.
I’m still actively flying and I look forward to seeing you all in space both during work and during my free time.
Excited to be here! You’ll all be hearing quite a lot from me in the near future, so thank you for the warm welcomes.

I can’t claim to be the most amazing solo pilot, but if you look at zkill for Katalya Myst you’ll see me whelping solo, dual web, pointless coercers around Tama somewhat recently.

Nobody is being banned for their opinions on red dots - that would be a weird thing to do when I posted asking for feedback on them. Breaking forum rules with off topic discussion or abusive language is what people were given suspensions for.
I don’t care about swear words and our stance on those isn’t changing. I do care about comments which directly insult or attack other players or devs however (which has always been against the rules).
Hahaha. Well now that I’m here the community team has the bandwidth to get more involved with the forum again, I just happen to be taking point on that right now.
