We have a small patch that follows up on the Armed & Dangerous update going out today! Most notably, update 1.1.36252 significantly overhauls booster sound logic, giving set item and legendary boosters unique start and thruster audio.
The update also adds Redemption, an item set that didn’t quite make it into our last release. We’ve taken this update as an opportunity to fix a selection of bugs as well—a full changelog can be found at the bottom of this post.
A few small community-suggested tweaks have been made to localizations here and there to improve the text translations of EVERSPACE 2 in a few languages. Thank you to everyone who has submitted feedback through Crowdin!

We’re excited to share that our first free major update for EVERSPACE 2 is coming October 2nd, 2023! The Armed & Dangerous update will be ready to download across PC and consoles on the same day, bringing new set items, catalysts, perks, quality of life improvements, Tier 4 ship wings, and more to the game.

Xbox Game Pass fans will be able to take flight day one as EVERSPACE 2 comes to the service, giving millions of space enthusiast subscribers around the globe the chance to blast off into the stars. At launch, Xbox fans on Series X will be able to enjoy 60 fps, while Series S will be capped at 30 fps. With Play Anywhere enabled, Microsoft Store players on PC will be able to shift over to their Xbox (or the other way around) and pick up where they left off.
