438s so um and that's because of you guys

446s probably just address a couple more uh

454s we got the new engine we got the new

458s i did a little bit of coloration to it i
460s like to make it have this standard sort

464s in some of these pieces for the third

470s but i like how that comes across it's

473s let's also look at our build really
475s quick since it's been a while uh we're
476s still using uh umbra and penumbra
479s that'll probably end up changing uh
481s we're gonna be doing several of these

488s the changes we made through your
490s feedback and also through our own play

493s with these signal decoders dropping like
495s absolute candy constantly we did feel
498s that they needed to be scaled back a
500s little bit you can sell these by the way
502s so if any of you feel like oh man i
504s don't have enough time to use them go
506s sell them you'll make a ton of cash like
508s this one here sells for almost 10 000
511s credits by itself
513s but otherwise these were scaled back so
516s instead of dropping from just common
517s enemy types which
519s was probably where they came from the
521s most they no longer drop at all from
523s that source now they only drop from
526s specific locations you've entered
528s venture to and specific enemies one of
530s those specific enemy types happens to be
532s the elite enemy type so if you ever see
535s that skull next to a user a user a enemy
540s vessel that's going to be your target
542s for finding one of these signal decoders
544s no we did not sneak in multiplayer those
547s aren't users you're facing oh gosh

556s difficulty so the game can kick my booty

949s and then you leave that location you
951s level up some more and then you come
952s back to it and you're level say you're
954s topped off at level 22 you come into the
956s space and then everything is still at
959s level 9 10 and 11 right
961s that doesn't feel good there was a
964s reason why we did that because we tried
965s to make the spaces
967s persistent that way any loot that was
970s released it was floating about you'd be
972s able to go back to pick it up now this
974s also created a number of issues because
977s say there's a container that you open
978s and it has goods in it and you close it
980s and you leave when you come back to it
981s it's going to be the same
984s level of content in there before so
986s especially with ceto there could be
988s chances where you leave a location in
991s ceto you come back to it and you open up
994s a container that has like level two
995s level three gear and you're level 22.
999s so we recognize that as an issue some of
1002s that i think is starting to get fixed
1004s uh but it's probably not done over the
1006s full thing just know that that's one of
1008s the fun things that we get to explore
1010s and uh
1012s discern through our development process
1017s excellent hello today released this game
1019s the spring update has been released
1022s the spring update which introduces this
1025s stinger class ship which you can now fly
1028s among many other things in particular
1031s the overhauling
1033s of
1034s a great many backend systems including
1036s devices resources and crafting
1049s for as uh as bearded frog mentions yes
1052s the full release is still a long ways
1054s off
1056s we have until 2023
1059s early 2023 i will say that
1066s oh my goodness
1070s so
1071s my third
1072s hard point is going to be active for
1074s almost 10 seconds
1076s because i have okay we're gonna change
1078s it we're gonna change it back to english
1082s we're changing back to english because i
1083s only know english and a little bit of
1084s dutch and that's about it
1088s i said dutch and i mean germany
1091s deutsch there we go

1096s so
1097s in our build here we have a bit of
1100s firepower we have a bit of utility and
1102s we have a bit of expertise those are
1103s kind of the three that we've focused on
1105s the most
1106s here
1107s so whenever uh what this is basically
1110s going to allow us to do this expertise
1111s here this is the additional hardpoint
1113s duration for the stinger
1116s so with an 89 increase on that
1119s that feels good that means when we hit a
1122s device our hardpoint will be activated
1124s for approximately nine seconds
1127s approximately
1129s the utility means that when we're using
1131s those devices they are going to hit hard
1134s and they're gonna cool down fairly fast
1137s as well all of these stats that you're
1140s seeing uh right behind my face right now
1143s all of these have also received yet
1145s another balancing pass as well since the
1148s beginning of the experimental so as
1152s marco puts it we are making it to where
1155s these attributes are more accessible
1157s early and then it slowly diminishes over
1160s time
1162s so it's more accessible in the early
1164s game state and then it's harder and
1166s harder and harder to build up as you get
1168s further down the line
1171s all right so um and then firepower is
1173s pretty straightforward that's going to
1174s do damage yay qps

1197s location where you can find copper

1310s those things um some of them are also
1312s like simple improvements to like
1315s ui just to make things a little bit more
1317s clear for example when you're moving
1319s through here now you can see which ones
1321s are maxed out
1324s which ones are mastered versus ones that
1326s are not
1327s you can see that very clearly
1331s device upgrade color was changed
1333s accordingly as well
1334s just little little details like that
1336s just to make things stand out a bit more
1341s um here let me actually let me pull up
1343s this list because there's a there's a
1344s lot on the ui uh especially in crafting
1347s there were a number of little tweaks and
1349s changes there too
1350s um like how the callus uh modify
1353s description ends up being which we don't
1356s have any uh to modify with
1360s uh so yeah so now you just see this
1362s modification unavailable no compatible
1364s catalysts available

1372s understand what you're looking at if you
1374s don't have the necessary ingredients

1439s uh it can almost look like a mouthpiece
1441s that you plug into your teeth like if
1443s you're playing a sport

1596s because that did a lot of damage to

1611s completely fine and that's because that
1613s nano swarm was like oh you took damage

1694s does an absolute crap ton of self-damage

1700s yes so if you are way too close to your
1704s target or in the case of that combat if
1706s you slow back the time and you see when
1708s my health basically went from full to
1709s almost dead it's because i think i shot
1712s a mine or a missile that was directly in
1714s front of me and the splash damage from
1717s my own flat cannon nearly killed me so
1720s i'm rather thankful i have pretty strong
1722s structure so i was able to handle that
1725s with a decent amount of resistance to
1728s boot because honestly
1730s having this much health on a stinger
1733s doesn't really seem like it's necessary
1737s however in a glass cannon build in a lot
1740s of cases that light ships follow
1743s it's not a bad idea to just cover your
1746s butt we also did scale back the self
1749s damage of the flat cannon um just a
1752s little bit at least
1754s so that you can't insta-kill yourself um
1758s i mean you still can
1759s you could still do a tremendous amount
1761s of damage to yourself but
1763s uh we are taking the means to gamify
1765s that just a little bit more
1767s um
1768s to be on your side
1770s excellent
1772s all right let's pick up our loot we got
1775s lots of it
1776s lots of loot around here
1780s energy damage oh this is perfect this is
1783s the new catalyst that we added
1785s since the beginning of the experimental
1787s so that's that's wonderful i'm glad we
1789s picked up this one
1790s honestly i've got no cheats going on
1792s that was completely random but i'm
1794s really glad that we grabbed that one um
1796s it might actually be my new favorite
1798s catalyst honestly it's it's really good
1802s um so let's just talk about it um right
1804s now
1805s so the new
1807s energy damage
1809s catalyst this allows you to increase the
1812s weapons energy damage by 25 i know some
1814s of you are thinking like oh yeah well we
1816s already had that for like kinetic and
1817s you know blah blah whatever the fact
1819s that we can get this on an energy weapon
1821s means that if you're encountering
1823s enemies without armor like i don't know
1826s the more
1827s i would call them lower level the more
1829s simple enemies that don't like they
1832s simply lack armor you boost this energy
1834s damage and you don't even have to change
1837s your weapon you just like shoot through
1838s their shields and then they're taking
1840s full energy damage directly from their
1842s hole
1843s this is a perfect time to remind you all
1845s that energy damage
1847s does do full damage
1849s to the hole
1851s kinetic damage
1853s simply can't attack shields energy
1856s damage simply can't attack armor but
1858s they both respectively do full damage to
1862s the hole
1863s cool just putting emphasis on that since
1866s i was watching some of you guys stream
1870s all right
1876s um also i don't think we found any
1879s yet it would be amazing if we did it
1882s doesn't look like we did yes okay so um
1885s also something that we've recently added
1887s since the beginning of the
1889s experimental
1890s is now secondaries can also have
1894s these prefixes assigned to them randomly
1897s and also
1898s added to them through the catalysts so
1900s there's some that specifically only
1902s apply like these three
1905s catalysts that you start out with that
1908s are available from the very beginning of
1910s the game these three commons which are
1913s calibrated which reduces spread by 50
1916s high capacity which increases the ammo
1918s capacity of a secondary by 30
1920s and accelerated which increases the
1922s recharge speed
1924s by 30 percent to a shield
1928s boom boom boom so you can see these
1929s catalysts are not designed to only be
1932s applied to weapons i was never the plan
1935s and you will in fact see
1937s more catalysts in the future because
1939s they're not all going to just be
1942s prefixes and you can tell that already
1944s with like something like this
1946s just remember that you can only have one
1948s catalyst on at a time so if you increase
1950s your kinetic damage through a catalyst
1952s and then you decide you'd rather have a
1954s prefix that kinetic damage bonus goes
1957s away and then you add the prefix instead
1960s through the catalyst because again only
1962s one catalyst it can be either here or
1964s there even though
1966s a modifier and a prefix are two
1968s different things only one catalyst can
1971s be active at a time
1973s okay
1975s lots of information for you guys
1977s uh but there you go all right so that
1979s felt really nice let's bump up to the
1982s next tier
1983s and go into our superior
1986s high risk location
1988s uh let's see
1990s i don't know which one's level 22 and
1992s which one's level 23. i guess we removed
1994s that that's fine
2002s guys adjust the situation with the
2004s striker alt charging so fast due to
2006s perks and precision uh changes and
2008s experimental uh

2012s there i'm pretty sure we did address

2016s at least in my testing i wasn't having
2018s anything that was absolutely wild that
2020s had been reported

2139s even mentioned this whenever we first
2140s revealed it it is designed to do kind of
2143s this damage over time using your devices
2146s because they chain together so well so
2149s what i'm using my my particular
2151s combination we have our emp generator
2153s which is doing 902 damage per second
2157s that number is carried up through these
2160s damage bonuses here
2162s we have our mercy kill corrosion
2165s injector which is doing 385 kinetic
2167s damage per second again
2169s bonuses here and then we also have our
2171s annihilator virus that after a period of
2174s time deals
2177s 2477 kinetic damage 4128
2180s energy damage
2183s and i have it to where this affects
2184s eight different targets to do so
2189s nasty combination
2191s absolutely nasty combination and the
2193s stinger loves it
2195s it's one of my favorite little
2197s combinations with the stingers oh look
2199s at this guy look look he's gonna dance
2201s for us ah maybe not
2203s i guess we patched that that's
2205s unfortunate punch christian can we roll
2207s that back

2226s and just uh just to remind you all i'm
2228s using this build i'm maximizing all of
2230s these uh elements to be largely in my
2233s favor oh rapid
2235s rapid catalyst that's great uh we are in
2237s fact playing on the very hard

2243s do a couple of things incorrectly i
2245s could get killed very quickly honestly

2254s but boy do i love how these devices were
2256s contained with one another

2261s our weapons

3224s trade lanes to you know mix and match
3226s how that works now but again that's in
3228s the future that's in the plans

4884s two vindicators that actually operate a
4886s little bit differently depending on the
4888s perks that it has in addition to that
