191s open and breaking it in half so thank

845s updates and changes to the game itself
848s one of those aspects has been how the
850s attributes scale
852s so in short
855s when your numbers are lower as they're
857s increasing higher and higher and higher
859s at first like from zero to 100 it's
862s going to be a very large improvement
864s versus 100 to 200 it's gonna be a little
867s less 200 to 300 300 even less 300 400
871s even less
872s etc etc etc so when you put a little bit
876s into an attribute it gets a nice bonus
878s if you put a lot into an attribute it's
881s still going to be incredibly strong but
882s it's going to diminish over time with
884s how much you're plugging into it so when
887s you're using something like emp
888s generator if you have a nice
890s well-rounded build this can still do and
892s dish out a lot of damage using the short
894s circuit but if you are like completely
897s soaking everything into utility
900s you might see it taper off a little bit
902s you're gonna have to hold your own with
903s other nicely paired devices to truly get
906s the maximum value out of it okay
910s not to say that you can't pair that
911s nicely with expertise and firepower and
913s the stuff you guys do i've seen your
915s streams i've been seeing your posts and
917s whatnot they're great and they make me
918s smile so thank you for that
921s okay so we got our build here uh very
924s very aggressive build um let's see yeah
927s so installed warfare devices for
929s relentless that's going to be really
930s good here so that's 60 increased weapon
932s energy capacity straight up huge
935s benefits all around especially since we
937s rebalanced the energy capacity in this
939s latest update as well
942s uh let's see we are also using play it
944s safe
945s ulterior motive
947s which does not go well with the
948s interceptor i would argue but that's
950s okay
951s and defensive massacre so since i did
954s hover over ulterior motive let's just
956s also talk about one other hotfix that
958s wasn't implemented
960s that we might hotfix in
964s or we'll simply come with the next
966s update
967s it's not something that we feel is like
969s dire to plug in so when i say might be a
972s hotfix i don't want you guys to get
973s super excited pretty sure we're not
975s going to do another hotfix unless it's
977s absolutely needed
979s but we did notice that ulterior motive
982s was triggering
983s when you don't have a shield at all and
985s we do consider that a bug the shield has
987s to be depleted not the shield be removed
990s so that is actually going to change in
993s the future furthermore just because
995s we're on this topic excessive force was
998s also recently found to have a bug where
1000s when your shield is removed it gives you
1004s that benefit the entire time and the
1006s wording here is that your shield is
1008s fully charged to get the benefit when a
1011s shield is zero out of zero it's full but
1014s also was not the intended method for
1017s this perk so just gonna throw that out
1019s there excessive force and ulterior
1022s motive as of right now are not working
1024s as intended and those will be patched
1028s okay

1089s balancing acts and making things work

1099s intended we're fixing it to do that
1101s we're also recognizing that there could
1103s be some really fun and useful synergies
1105s for players who find methods to get
1108s their shields drained and stuff like
1110s that or keep their shields up that's the
1112s intentionality that's going on between
1113s these two perks and we also want to
1115s facilitate that in the future
1118s when our itemization grows
1120s as well
1122s so we have to fix this now to make
1124s interesting optimal and unique creative
1128s ways to approach your builds in the

1138s i asked this before but didn't really
1139s get an answer sorry about that
1141s in my humble opinion
1143s rng can get a little annoying at times
1145s sure so why not have something at
1147s backend that tweaks rng in favor of
1149s items variations that have not dropped
1151s an extended period of time what's your
1152s tweak on that guys
1155s so in general when you're tampering with
1158s rng systems like that say like oh man
1160s this person really needs iron they just
1162s haven't been getting iron at all it's
1164s like let's start just randomly
1166s generating iron form well then that also
1168s kind of negates going and using the
1170s tools at your disposal like on your map
1172s you know where iron's located you know
1175s and then you go
1176s uh where where's my map there it is and
1178s then you go to a site that you know has
1179s iron
1181s and you go collect that right so in
1184s order to alleviate the rng we are giving
1186s tools inside of the game space that help
1189s you guide towards where you can find
1191s those elements and not all of those
1194s components not all of those elements
1196s have been put into place yet
1198s so while it might feel like there's a
1200s lot of rng in the game at this time in
1203s which case there's a little bit
1204s especially with just randomly found
1205s content
1207s we are designing the game that gives you
1209s a lot of player agency when it comes to
1213s what you want to collect and how you
1215s want to utilize that even in the case of
1218s mining for like pure iron for example
1221s this is something that came straight out
1222s of the community you guys were saying
1224s it's really hard to get this i'm trying
1226s to upgrade my freaking perks dang it and
1228s i can't find this pure iron i've got my
1230s mining stuff and it's just not gathering
1231s it so we changed that that was actually
1233s applied to hotfix
1234s the previous mining uh capability uh the
1238s of getting rarities i think was like
1240s four percent or something five percent
1242s somewhere around there
1243s and now that's been increased the base
1246s has been increased like for specific
1248s more common ores like iron to i think
1251s either nine or ten percent now
1253s and then if you're using the mining
1256s bonuses on top of that if you have
1257s something that increases you know the
1260s mining rarity by a hundred percent all
1261s of a sudden you have a 20 chance with
1264s every drop of iron to give you pure iron
1266s now so again we want to put it in your
1269s hands it's your control to play the way
1271s that you want and go after those
1272s resources you just have to use the tools
1274s that we will
1276s either are providing or will provide
1279s and we're looking at it from that sense
1281s hopefully that incredibly long
1283s explanation covers that ground

1471s very strong attack that they offer and
1474s it's important to keep moving otherwise
1475s you will die pretty fast
1479s now of course there's also some stuff
1480s going on here this is the clerical
1482s corvette this is a different faction of
1485s oakheart or sub-faction i should say
1488s the clerics are much more in line their
1491s caste is much more centered around the
1496s the society's tendency towards
1500s de-escalating and uh negotiating
1504s whenever it comes to conflicts and
1506s whatnot whereas the okar prime as you
1508s can probably see are much more in line
1510s with we are mighty warriors and we must
1513s stand uh and show the people what the
1515s oka are made of right

5296s not seem like this stuff adds up it
5298s really does like collecting commodities
5301s um like storing up your consumables and
5304s selling those and especially especially
5308s decoders even though we reduce the drop
5310s rates for them like this one alone sells
5314s for almost 10 000 credits so
5316s keep that in mind if you're struggling
5318s for credits there's still a lot of
5320s opportunities out there to still
5322s capitalize on in this new game space you
5324s just have to kind of think a little bit
5325s differently and how you're approaching
