[2020] Factorio Stargates

much like the name implies, I'm wondering if there are any mods out there that had stargate-like entities that allowed fast travel from one planet to another.
I've seen teleport type mods but haven't really played with them.

I was thinking what if we could expand it to other planets through the use of other mods like Space Exploration?

Potentially I could see this mod being used for a megabase spanning multiple planets or even star systems as a sort of endgame type research.

What are the community's thoughts on this?

could there be something to this, or is it just the rantings of a madman?
