There's a large player base in all games that enjoy seeing their basic stats (1st place trophies, total games, etc). Sure would keep me coming back, feeling like I'm improving even if I don't necessarily win a crown every game.
I personally would love to see stats in the game - it's definitely something that's being considered
We have loads of stuff planned and this decline is completely expected from our side. The game went viral at launch and it was obviously not going to sustain that. Nothing ever does. We're committed to the game long-term, as are Epic, all is cool!

we had a couple days to enjoy different finales and now we are back to all the different thin ices and hex a gones... it's so sad
Ultimately we can't please everyone with the updates we make! In this case the overwhelming majority were asking for different finals and I think it makes the flow a bit better to have those rounds in the regular rotation for more variety. We'll keep any eye on it though!

GOOD NEWS: Joe, the lead game designer said they will change it to normal finals after the massive feedback and complaints.
It is done, survival finals are now live in this mode!
Slimescraper and Slime Climb are now their regular versions.
